Hakuba camp (Chrisitan conference) will be held online!

 

Hakuba Sunerugoi （Co-workers) Camp is decided to be held on-line this year, which was to be hled in Hakuba, Nagano from March 3, 2021 through March 5, 2021.

 

M-san, a member of TLEA New York Church has never participated in that conference since it is held in Japan. Yet, she has been praying that she could. 

She is so happy that her prayer got answered.

We are also happy to fully participate in the camp even though we couldn't return Japan this March again due to the pandemic.

Pastor Asano's mother gone to heaven

Pastor Asano's mother passed away on Feb. 10.  His brother called him and told me that  she passed as if she was going to sleep.  

She has attended the local church for over 60 years and has led her son Pastor Asano to faith in Christ.

Her funeral was held at her local church as she wished. 

It was a time of hearing the hope of heaven - the death was conqured by Jesus' death and resurrection.

As his brother talked about the funeral on the phone, Pastor Asano was able to tell him about the gospel of Jesus Christ.

The death of his mother has given us oppotunities to share the gospel; we will keep praying for our unsaved family members.

We believe His time has come for salvation!

 

Nagasaki Martyrs anniversary meeting held on the hill of Nishizaka

On Feb. 5, 2021, Nagasaki Martyrs Anniversary Meeting was held on the hill of Nishizaka where the first 26 Christians were killed for their faith in Japan.

The chance of rain was 80-90 % but it didn't rain at all, thanks to earnest prayer of many.

We at TLEA NY Church was able to attend that live meeting online at midnight .

We felt a wonderful presence of the Lord throughout the meeting.

We are so grateful that the Lord strongly spoke to our hearts through Pastor Isaiah Kihara and Pastor Paul Akimoto.
