The name of our churches has been changed!

Shown by the Lord, the name of Tokyo Antioch Church has been changed from The Lord's Cross Christian Center Tokyo Antioch Church to The Light of Eternal Agape Tokyo Antioch Church.

Our NY church also wants to change its name, praying for that.
Our churches in the U.S.  need to take legal procedures to change our name since we have non-profit organization status. 

I'd appreciate it if you remember to pray for the process.

God is using "Sound of Wind" J-gospel songs !

Almost two years have passed since Mrs. N of another church started to attend our church once a month, seeking for healing for her sister and her husband in Tokyo.

This fall Mrs N returned Japan for a short period of time for medical checkup, and emailed to us telling us she was back to NY.

In the email, she gave us a praise report.
Her sister's husband who had been paralyzed for the past four years or so spend his peaceful time by listening to the CD of  J-gospel songs we had sent to them; he enjoy it everyday as much as he remembered the order of all the 77 songs.

We praised the Lord for that,

especially because we saw him losing hope when we visited them last winter. He was so hopeless and negative that he even stopped listening to the quiet music.

So we were amazed by the news Mrs. N brought to us this time around. 

We'd like to continue to pray for him.  God is good all the time.

The rain started falling and the thunder rolled, which we believe is the signs of God's blessing.

(A donkey appeared at Mt. of Olives while the team members were praying.）

The passage for the morning devotion that morning was Matthew 21, where Jesus mentioned donkeys and said, "The Lord needs them."

About 80 members stayed over Warsaw and returned Japan safely, divided into 12 groups via various airports in Europe and Moscow.

A Scripture for the new year !

Our flock of TLCCC churches has received a word from God to make the month of November the beginning of the year from Exodus;

this year again on the first Sunday of November, the Israel Team members have held a New Year's service at the Sea of Galilee !!

We all got to participate in that service online live !

The scripture shown by God to Pastor Akimoto, our senior pastor in Tokyo is as follows:

Matthew 13:23

"But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty."

 Let us receive the Word from God, help us understand it and keep it, So we will see abundant fruit !!  

And let us give glory to God!!

Heading to Israel on a mission trip

Pastor Daniel Asano will participate in the mission trip to Israel, starting on Oct. 29 through Nov. 10, 2018.
He is going to fly on the midnight of Oct. 28 and join the main group from Japan at Tel Aviv.  Surprisingly, the total number of participants is 92 this time.

This year falls to the 70th anniversary of a nation of Israel.
We will have a new year service of our church at the Sea of Galilee.

Day to pray for the peace of Jerusalem

The first Sunday of October is the day to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, which is the global prayer movement.

We joined in the meeting to pray for the peace of Jerusalem hosted by Tokyo Antioch church;
we made a brief appearance to pray via Skype, which was streamed online;
so did some  from Brazil, Cambodia, Czech, and Israel.
